CDP has positively assessed Arteche's commitment to sustainability, environment and climate change, and has given it one of the highest scores in the Supplier Engagement Rating (SER). Specifically, Arteche has received an A-. This score is higher than the global, the European and Arteche's sector average, which is C.

Con estas valoraciones, se pone en valor la estrategia ambiental de Arteche y se evidencia el compromiso y trabajo firme y continuo focalizado en la consecución los objetivos estratégicos en la lucha por el cambio climático.

On the other hand, CDP has rated Arteche with a C grade in its overall environmental and climate change commitment, in line with the global average and the average for the electrical and electronic equipment sector. With these evaluations, the company's sustainability strategy and the different actions taken in the area of energy efficiency are highlighted.

Sustainability at Arteche

Sustainability is one of Arteche's main pillars. The company's environmental commitment focuses on three blocks: 

  • The innovation and eco-design of its products, where it works on the search for sustainable insulators, the reduction of the product footprint and the circularity of the components.
  • The promotion of renewable electricity consumption, where it is worth noting that 14% of the company's electricity consumption already comes from renewable sources).
  • The circular economy, where the good trend in the reduction of hazardous waste generation continues to improve year after year (22% in 2022); in addition to recycling and reusing 64% of hazardous waste.

What is CDP?

CDP is a non-profit organization that manages the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impact. In addition, CDP has the most detailed environmental information on cities and companies in the global economy. 

The Supplier Engagement Rating (SER) evaluates companies' performance on governance, targets, scope 3 emissions and value chain engagement in the CDP Climate Change questionnaire. 

This voluntary index strengthens Arteche's sustainability strategy, which seeks to have the greatest positive impact on the places where it is present and on society in general, and to continue improving #MovingTogether.
